We are excited to welcome Wendy McClendon to the Silver Tree Consulting and Services Team as our new Senior Project Manager. Wendy brings over 20 years of extensive experience in project management, including significant roles within the Department of Defense and as a government contractor at the Pentagon.
Wendy's career began in the US Air Force as a Staff Sgt, where she specialized in analyzing classified data and generating real-time reports on crisis and risk mitigation. This foundational experience in high-stakes environments shaped her adeptness in handling complex projects under pressure.
Throughout her career, Wendy has demonstrated a profound capability in leading enterprise IT applications, focusing on complex data integration and analytics across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Her expertise extends to managing enterprise cloud application migrations, retrofits, enhancements, releases, and new build deployments. Wendy has been instrumental in creating training programs, implementing production support processes, and mentoring teams and partners across the project lifecycle.
Her hands-on approach and leadership have been pivotal in managing global projects end-to-end, from project initiation, through vendor implementation party selection, to kickoff, resource allocation, requirements gathering, build, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
At Silver Tree, Wendy will leverage her rich background and strategic insight to oversee our key projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
