David L. Hand

As Senior Vice President of Business Development, Dave oversees Silver Tree’s Sales and Marketing Strategy focused on Mid Market and Enterprise Accounts in North America.  Leading a team of regional consultants and working closely with all practice and portfolio leads, Dave ensures the right resources are in place to deliver a positive outcome to our customers, every time.  Strategic Partner Development is another critical responsibility that falls under Dave as the management of Silver Tree’s Eco-system of partners provides a rich, unique and complete model that allows Silver Tree to assess, analyze, deploy and manage any customer environment.  In addition, Dave leads Silver Tree’s UCaaS & CCaaS practice.  Customer success is job one. Prior to Silver Tree, Dave established a long and successful track record in supporting some of the largest global enterprises in the world in executive roles for Technology Service Industry leaders like Nortel, CSC and Mitel.  Dave’s passion for delivering customer satisfaction through effective listening skills and relentless follow up has been the root of his success in winning and retaining clients. His number one objective is to understand the pain points and challenges that face CIO’s every day and carefully craft a solution that will fill a gap or deliver a service.  With 35 years of IT industry experience the challenges and pain points of technology leaders have changed but caring and delivering effectively and honestly have not. Dave is responsible for assuring our clients’ needs are addressed with best industry practices delivered by experienced service delivery leaders with professional account management to every client, every time. We are thrilled to have his experience, professionalism and follow through to lead our Business Development team. Dave has supported clients in various industry verticals (the Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology and Retail) as well as State, Local and Federal Government. Dave has a BA with a Major in History from the University of Toronto and lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Denise, their children, Lauren and Dylan, and a 115-pound Bouvier des Flanders named Samson.
