As part of his role at Silver Tree, Jeff Willis-Jones leads our Operational Delivery Centers (ODC) in India, NA and Latam. From the ODCs Silver Tree provides clients: Service Desk, NOC, SOC, Desktop Engineering, System Administration and Management, and Service Integration and Management (SIAM) services.
Silver Tree’s AI-enabled SIAM platform is what Gartner defines as “3rd generation SIAM”. Our SIAM vision is to provide the clients with the management platform they need to enable the maximum productivity of their employees and partners at the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) possible. Enabling clients to manage their team members, partners, and technology providers holistically – services, processes, resources, and financials through the effective use of digital technology. The innovation of a 3rd Generation SIAM results in improved service reliability, quality, operational efficiency, and reduced cost to serve, along with much better governance, risk, compliance, and control.
Jeff has a consistent track record in significantly improving operations through better IT client alignment and lower unplanned outages. Jeff’s background in project, process and IT asset management compliments his capabilities in IT Operations, providing him with the ability to quickly identify and deploy operational changes. Jeff averages a 35% reduction in all incidents and 50% reduction in major incidents across all clients to date. In addition, he has been responsible for the deployment of millions of software patches and updates monthly, achieving over 99.9% deployment success over the last 10 years. This created an environment where PC availability (the complete absence of any issues that required Level 2 IT support) of over 99.5%.
Prior to Silver Tree Consulting & Services Mr. Willis-Jones was Digital Workplace Director at Raytheon Technologies where he managed Desktop Engineering and Operational services.
Mr. Willis-Jones served in the Air Force and has since worked for corporations such as CSC, Serco, Airbus, Fannie Mae and Standards Australia in support of their respective customers, covering project, process, and asset management. Jeff has managed over $1 billion of IT assets. Finally, he has driven significant savings through:
- Streamlining delivery processes
- Offshoring services
- Insourcing and outsourcing IT services to maximize client business outcomes and delivered automation
- ITSM tooling integration and automation
